About

My journey to homemade goat milk soap making has been a circuitous journey. My husband and I made a commitment to wholesome and healthy living that stemmed from my degrees in Biochemistry and Nutrition and grew from our decisions to homeschool, “homestead,” and raise our kids in 4-H, and solidified when we became more aware of some health challenges that our girls faced.

Now, at my “mini farm” I grow a produce garden, raise chickens for eggs and meat, raise rabbits for fun and for meat, and goats for milk. Once we got into goats – we fell in love… with the milk and with the silly little goats!

My daughter & I started experimenting with all the things you can do with goat milk. The chemistry of it all highly appealed to me! I love making soap and yogurt and cheese! And recently we have branched out into salves and balms. Now that my girls are grown and I am no longer homeschooling, I am finding joy in creating and teaching.

I love the wholesomeness of the homemade goat milk soap, the simplicity of the ingredients, the silky feel, and the variety of fun scents and colors that we can create in them! I am always trying new recipes and new natural ingredients!
